Honda has opened Indonesian orders for the Super-ONE at Rp438 million (RM101,000) on-the-road in Jakarta.
The price was announced today at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, after the compact electric car had been introduced there on July 30.
Indonesia will receive 100 units in 2026, all imported from Japan.
Deliveries are due to begin in late August and continue through October. Honda has not disclosed next year’s allocation.
Sales and marketing director Yusak Billy said the model was not intended to chase volume or compete mainly on price.
Honda said expressions of interest had already exceeded the available allocation before pricing was disclosed.
The Super-ONE marks the first step for Honda Electric in Indonesia. Built on a modified N-Series platform, it uses a 29.6kWh lithium-ion battery and a front-mounted motor producing 70kW, or 95PS, and 162Nm. Honda Indonesia quotes 252km of range under the NEDC test cycle.
Five drive settings are provided: Econ, City, Normal, Sport and Boost. Sport and Boost add simulated seven-speed shifts through steering-wheel paddles, accompanied by synthetic engine sounds from Active Sound Control.
Honda calls the concept a “Pocket Rocket”, placing more emphasis on driver involvement than outright range.
Charging support comprises 6.6kW single-phase and 10kW three-phase AC, plus 50kW DC through Type 2 and CCS2 connections.
Honda quotes about 4.5 hours for a full charge using a 6kW AC supply and roughly 30 minutes on a rapid charger. A power connector can supply up to 1.5kW to external electrical equipment.
Standard equipment includes a nine-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, a 7.0-inch instrument display, Bose audio, digital-key connectivity and second-row Ultra Seats. Honda Sensing, six airbags and front and rear parking sensors are also fitted.
Crystal Black Pearl is standard, while Boost Violet Pearl and Luminous Grey Metallic can be ordered with a two-tone finish for another Rp10 million (RM2,300).
Buyers will receive a portable charger, a three-year or 100,000km vehicle warranty and eight-year or 160,000km high-voltage battery cover.
