Zeekr has begun shipping the 9X from China to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking a wider overseas push for its flagship plug-in hybrid SUV.
The company has not disclosed how many vehicles are in this shipment.
The 9X is Zeekr’s first model built around its SEA-S Super Hybrid system. Its 900-volt architecture supports rapid charging, while the highest-output version is rated at up to 1,030 kW. Zeekr claims a 0–100 kph time of 3.1 seconds.
Zeekr also quotes up to 380 km of electric range under China’s CLTC test cycle for a version with a 70 kWh battery. Combined petrol and electric range is said to be up to 1,250 km.
The company said the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in about nine minutes under suitable conditions.
