GAC’s first flagship store in Southeast Asia, the GACB Sathorn Experience Center & GAC Thailand Battery Service Centre, officially opened on June 25 in Bangkok’s Sathorn district.
The dual “Sales + Energy Services” facility represents the inaugural implementation of GAC’s regional strategy, enhancing consumer engagement and after-sales support.
Present at the opening were Thai government officials and major media outlets.
GAC had introduced on June 24 the upgraded global premium compact model Aion UT to the Thai market.
The Aion UT attracted over 4,500 orders during the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show.

Boasting a contemporary design, advanced technology and high-quality specifications, the model targets young drivers and urban commuters seeking a refined electric car.
The Sathorn site also hosts Thailand’s only BOI-approved battery service centre, enabling comprehensive support under GAC’s “One GAC 2.0” framework.
This strategy integrates product lines, intelligent manufacturing, sales channels, service networks, an energy ecosystem and mobility systems into a cohesive overseas expansion model.
GAC plans to leverage the Sathorn Experience Centre as a regional benchmark, using the Bangkok foothold to accelerate market growth across Southeast Asia.
By showcasing its end-to-end offering — from vehicle sales through to battery maintenance — GAC aims to set up a demonstration market that will guide further expansion throughout the region.
