Renault’s new Twingo E-Tech electric will make its first public appearance of 2026 at the Brussels Motor Show, with the city car and a related set of small e-mobility products due on the brand’s stand from Jan 9-18.
The Twingo E-Tech, revealed in November 2025, is a compact EV with a modular cabin. The company said the show car will highlight features such as independent, sliding rear seats and a boot capacity of up to 360 litres.
Alongside the car, Renault will display six “mobility objects” under a programme it calls Twingomania.
The items are developed with European start-ups and borrowed visual cues from the Twingo E-Tech, including the Absolute Green colour and the arched headlamp theme, Renault said.
The line-up ranges from micro-mobility to powered watersports. The Elwing electric skateboard weighs 6.9kg, reaches 25kph and is quoted with a 90-minute charge time.
The Mo-Jet electric bodyboard targets activities such as surfing and foiling, with roughly 100kg of thrust, a 55kph top speed and a battery charge to 95% in 45 minutes, according to Renault.
Kahe’s compact electric marine motor can be used as a boat motor or underwater scooter, weighs 4.9kg, reaches 8kph and is claimed to run for up to eight hours.
On the street side, Pamela is an electric urban bicycle with BMX-inspired styling, a 522Wh battery, a 25kph top speed and up to 70km of range.
Vässla’s electric scooter is listed with up to 120km of range when fitted with two batteries and a 45kph top speed.
Vega, an electric motorbike, is described as using a 10kW motor and a 7kWh battery for up to 140km of range and a 110kph top speed.
Beyond the Brussels show, Renault plans a “Twingo Expo” in spring on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, followed by a four-day Twingo Festival from June 18-21.
The car is also set for international press road tests in spring, with Renault citing an AmpR Small platform, a 60kW (82hp) motor, a 27.5kWh LFP battery and a WLTP range of 263km.
The Twingo E-Tech will feature in the Roland Garros French Open activities from May 18 to June 7, where it will be a partner for a fifth year running.
