BYD has launched the Atto 1 in Singapore, adding its smallest electric car to the brand’s growing line-up in the city state.
BYD Singapore managing director James Ng confirmed the arrival on LinkedIn, saying the Atto 1 was launched at Zouk Singapore.
The Singapore-spec Atto 1 uses a 43.2 kWh Blade Battery and has a claimed 322km WLTP range. BYD quotes a 0-100 kph time of 12.1 seconds, positioning the compact EV primarily for urban use.
Official pricing lists the Atto 1 under Singapore’s Category A Certificate of Entitlement (COE) structure. The Savers package with non-guaranteed COE starts at S$164,888 (about RM525,300), while the Excite package with guaranteed COE is currently S$172,888 (about RM550,700) after a S$2,000 discount. The full list price is S$239,888.
BYD’s price list also gives energy consumption of 15.6 kWh/100km and places the Atto 1 in Singapore’s VES A emissions category.
The model joins the Atto 2, Dolphin and Atto 3 Evo in BYD’s Category A range in Singapore. BYD is already selling the model in Thailand and Indonesia.
