Zeekr Malaysia is putting the 009 luxury electric MPV to work at Subang SkyPark, where it will ferry VIP passengers between the SkyPark Business Aviation Centre (SBAC) and their aircraft.
Zeekr is not the first carmaker to put premium cars into airport transfer duty.
BMW Group Malaysia began supplying the all-electric i7 for Malaysia Airlines’ private terminal transfers at KLIA in February 2024, while Mercedes-Benz Malaysia took over the service with the S 580 e and EQS 500 4Matic in January 2025.
At Subang, the 009 will be used for a different leg of the journey, carrying passengers airside from the business aviation facility directly to waiting aircraft.
Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia and SkyPark FBO Malaysia have signed a memorandum of understanding covering the collaboration. SkyPark FBO operates the business aviation centre at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport and handles private and general aviation passengers.
The 009 will form part of the transfer service for private jet owners, charter customers and other VIP travellers using the facility. The memorandum does not state how many vehicles will be deployed.
Zeekr Malaysia general manager Eddy Lu said the MPV was designed for passengers who spend considerable time travelling and expect comfort and connectivity.
SkyPark FBO senior general manager Hariss Abdullah said the vehicle would extend the passenger service from the lounge through to boarding.
Its large cabin comes with Sofaro seats trimmed in Nappa leather, ventilation and massage functions, plus a 17-inch 3K OLED roof-mounted display.
The 009 also features Zeekr’s Intelligent Magic Carpet suspension control system with dual-chamber air suspension, which adjusts chassis response according to road conditions.
The 009 is already sold in Malaysia in Executive, Luxury and Ultra-Luxury variants. Zeekr’s Malaysian website lists prices from RM304,800, with a 116kWh battery and WLTP range of up to 604km depending on variant.
