Geely’s electric sub-brand Zeekr has appointed Carro as its authorised dealer in Malaysia after signing a Memorandum of Understanding at Carro’s flagship Puchong store today.
The partnership will extend Zeekr’s sales network and strengthen after-sales capabilities ahead of the launch of its next model, the Zeekr 7X.
Zeekr Southeast Asia managing director Alex Bao said the partnership expands on the brand’s presence in Malaysia.
Carro, an online automotive marketplace based in Singapore, will add brand-new Zeekr models to its offerings.
In March 2025, Carro Singapore began parallel imports of new vehicles with in-house warranties, after-sales handled by Carro Care, and financing via Genie Financial Services.
Carro international marketplace CEO Fong Hon Sum said Malaysia’s growing hybrid and electric-vehicle market, supported by improving infrastructure and tax incentives, made the timing ideal.
He added that Carro’s expertise in inspections, repairs and maintenance equips it to support Zeekr owners fully.
Current Zeekr Spaces (showrooms) in Petaling Jaya and IOI Mall Puchong will serve as sales hubs for the Zeekr 009 MPV and X SUV, both launched in December 2024.
The Zeekr 009, offered in 7-seater front-wheel-drive Executive (RM310,000 – discounted price for first 500 bookings), all-wheel-drive Luxury (RM349,800) and Ultra Luxury (RM359,800) variants, combines luxury with sustainability.
The X SUV is available in Premium (RM155,800) and Flagship (RM172,800) trims.
All prices are on-the-road, excluding insurance.
Zeekr owners will benefit from the standard dealer warranty plus Carro’s end-to-end services: financing via Genie Financial Services, maintenance through Carro Care and insurance with Coverro. Plans are under way to open four additional Zeekr Spaces in Juru Autocity, the Klang Valley and Seremban, alongside three new authorised Carro Care workshops.
