Okay, listen up. Leapmotor International wants to tell the world that it has shipped the C10 electric SUV from Shanghai, China, to various ports in the Asia Pacific region this month.
The vehicles are scheduled to arrive in time for the dealers in Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, Australia and New Zealand to start selling them by this month. Malaysia will be the first country in Asean to start selling the C10.
Leapmotor International did not state how many units were exported.
It plans to set up over 40 sales points for Leapmotor vehicles in the India and Asia Pacific region by the end of 2024.
The C10 is a fully equipped, family-centric D-segment vehicle featuring 420km range (WLTP).
The C10 is Leapmotor’s first global product and the company plans to roll out at least one model every year in the next three years.
Leapmotor is the third top Chinese EV start-up brand with cumulative deliveries of 460,000 units by September 2024.
The C10 is based on Leapmotor’s self-developed LEAP3.0 architecture, featuring intelligent electric technology such as central integrated electronic and electrical architecture, cell-to-chassis (CTC) technology, and a smart cockpit.
