Lamborghini has unveiled the Fenomeno Roadster, a roofless V12 hybrid “Few-Off” model limited to just 15 units worldwide.
The open-top hypercar was shown at the second Lamborghini Arena event and follows the Fenomeno Coupé first presented in 2025. It also continues Lamborghini’s line of limited-run roadsters that started with the Reventón Roadster in 2009.
Power comes from a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 paired with three electric motors. Total system output is 1,080 PS /1,065hp. The engine alone produces 835 PS at 9,250rpm and 725Nm at 6,750rpm.
The numbers are suitably extreme. Lamborghini said the Fenomeno Roadster does 0-100kph in 2.4 seconds and 0-200kph in 6.8 seconds, before reaching more than 340kph. A 7kWh lithium-ion battery also allows a fully electric driving mode, although this is clearly not the main reason anyone buys one.
The hybrid system uses two electric motors at the front axle and one mounted above the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Besides adding power, the motors support torque vectoring and regenerative braking.
Lamborghini has made aerodynamic changes for the roadster body. A spoiler on the windscreen helps direct air over the cockpit and into the engine bay, replacing the roof-fed air scoop used on the coupé. The carbon rollover protection structures have also been shaped to reduce turbulence and wind noise while blending into the speedster-style rear humps.
Underneath, the Fenomeno Roadster uses a multi-technology carbon-fibre chassis with a Forged Composite front structure. Lamborghini calls the architecture a monofuselage, similar in concept to the Revuelto, with the front crash structures, windscreen frame, rear bulkhead and side skirts integrated into the carbon structure.
The suspension uses manually adjustable racing shock absorbers, while braking is handled by CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic discs developed from motorsport technology. Lamborghini said the system is designed to deliver consistent braking under hard use.
Bridgestone has developed bespoke Potenza tyres for the Fenomeno Roadster. Road-focused Potenza Sport tyres are fitted in 265/30 ZRF21 front and 355/25 ZRF22 rear sizes, with a semi-slick option also developed for track use.
Inside, Lamborghini continues its “Feel Like a Pilot” theme, using carbon fibre, Corsatex by Dinamica and Carbon Skin material. The cockpit combines three digital displays, haptic buttons and aviation-style switches.
The Fenomeno name follows Lamborghini’s tradition of using names linked to fighting bulls. In Italian and Spanish, it also means “phenomenal”, which is about as subtle as the car itself.
