Chery-owned Jetour has outlined its latest developments in hybrid powertrains, intelligent four-wheel drive and artificial intelligence at its 2026 Global Technology Experience Day in Wuhu, China.
The presentation included its C-DM super hybrid system, XWD intelligent four-wheel-drive technology and GAIA hybrid architecture.
These technologies form part of Jetour’s work on improving vehicle efficiency and performance across different driving conditions, particularly for its growing range of off-road-oriented SUVs.
Jetour also showcased an automotive-specific large AI model, its chip strategy, AiMOGA robots and robotaxi technology.
The company is exploring more advanced human-vehicle interaction using AI systems capable of handling complex instructions and tasks beyond conventional voice commands.
Energy technology was another focus, with demonstrations covering solar power generation, storage and charging systems.
Jetour is also examining vehicle-to-grid (V2G) bidirectional charging, which allows suitably equipped electric vehicles to return electricity to the grid.
Jetour International president Ke Chuandeng said the company’s technology development was focused on practical applications for driving and travel.
The brand’s current SUV line-up includes the T-Series, aimed at light off-road use, and the G-Series, positioned for more demanding and premium applications.
