Polestar has confirmed the Formula 2030 concept, a design study that will preview the next-generation Polestar 2 and upcoming Polestar 7.
The concept is the first major statement from design chief Philipp Römers and points to an evolution of the Swedish EV brand’s current look rather than a complete reset. Familiar elements, including the Dual Blade headlights, will remain.
The next Polestar 2 is planned for launch in 2027, while the Polestar 7 compact premium SUV is due in 2028.
Formula 2030 will show how future models develop Polestar’s approach to exterior and interior design, materials, performance and sustainability.
Polestar will first show the concept privately to investors, retailers and selected customers at its Gothenburg headquarters as part of a wider Formula 2030 strategy event.
A public debut will follow later this year, alongside media activities for the Polestar 4 SUV.
The concept arrives as Polestar prepares one of its biggest product expansions yet, with several new and revised EVs due over the next three years.
Polestar said the show car also reinforced its existing focus on technology and driving performance.
