Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has given the locally assembled GLC 350 e 4Matic Coupé a darker look with a new Nightfall Edition, while leaving its plug-in hybrid drivetrain unchanged.
Priced at RM442,888 on-the-road without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia, the model continues to be assembled at the company’s plant in Pekan, Pahang.
Its electrified hardware pairs a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with a 100kW electric motor. Combined output is 230kW (313PS) and 550Nm, channelled through a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive.
Mercedes-Benz quotes more than 100km of electric range on the WLTP cycle, while EV mode can operate at speeds of up to 140kph. Charging is handled by an 11kW three-phase AC onboard charger.
Performance is unchanged, with 0-100kph taking 6.7 seconds and top speed rated at 220kph. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s official specifications independently confirm the 313hp system output and those performance figures.
The Nightfall treatment is mainly cosmetic. Black 20-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels are joined by dark chrome door handles and gloss-black finishes applied to areas including the mirrors, window surrounds, grille detailing and rear diffuser.
Standard equipment remains extensive. The cabin gets 12.3-inch and 11.9-inch displays, ARTICO upholstery and a 15-speaker Burmester 3D sound system. DIGITAL LIGHT, a panoramic sliding roof, Driving Assistance Package Plus and a 360-degree camera are also included.
Mercedes-Benz is offering Agility+ financing from RM4,788 a month.
Malaysian customers are already offered Nightfall Edition versions of the GLA 200, GLA 250 and Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupé.
