Leapmotor has opened European orders for the B03X, a compact electric crossover priced from €24,900 (RM116,000).
The B03X is known as the A10 in China, but Leapmotor is using the B03X name for Europe.
Order books opened from early July through European dealerships, putting the B03X below larger electric SUVs while giving Leapmotor a broader entry point into the region’s fast-growing compact EV segment.
The B03X measures 4,270 mm long, 1,810 mm wide and 1,635 mm tall, with a 2,605 mm wheelbase.
Leapmotor is pitching it as an urban crossover, with a high seating position, a flexible cabin layout, a flat cargo floor and multiple storage areas.
Two lithium iron phosphate battery options are offered. The smaller 39.8 kWh pack gives up to 292 km of WLTP range, while the larger 53.0 kWh pack raises that to 382 km. Both support DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in about 16 minutes.
Power comes from a single front-mounted electric motor producing 145 kW and 200 Nm. The B03X does 0–100kph in 8.6 seconds and has a top speed of 160kph.
European buyers get two trims, Life and Design. Leapmotor said the B03X also uses its Leap OS 4.0 digital system, with smartphone integration, remote vehicle control and connected-car functions.
