Hyundai’s high-performance N brand is getting a direct East Malaysia touchpoint with the opening of Hyundai Kuching, a new 3S outlet operated by Heng Lian Enterprise Bhd.

That means customers in Kuching will have access not only to Hyundai’s usual showroom cars, but also to the recently introduced N performance sub-brand.

Hyundai Motor Malaysia said Heng Lian Enterprise is an exclusive Hyundai N dealer, with the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N forming part of the N story after their KLIMS 2026 launch.

The new outlet opened on June 24 in Sarawak and forms part of Hyundai Motor Malaysia’s plan to grow its national network to 25 outlets by the end of 2026. It is also a useful move for East Malaysia buyers, who often have fewer showroom and aftersales options than customers in the Klang Valley.

Hyundai Kuching is a 3S outlet, so it covers sales, service and spare parts under one roof. The facility has a built-up area of 7,500 sq ft and houses Hyundai’s core models including the Santa Fe, Tucson and Staria.

Kuching South mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng officially opened the outlet.

Hyundai Motor Malaysia managing director Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen said Kuching is important to Hyundai’s East Malaysia growth, while Heng Lian Enterprise dealer principal Sylvia Ng said the outlet was built to give customers a more confident and convenient ownership experience.

To mark the opening, Hyundai Kuching is running a lucky draw from June 26 to July 26. A completed test drive gives customers one entry, while a vehicle booking adds two more entries.

The grand prize is a Samsung Galaxy S26, with other prizes including a Hamel tint package, dashcam, Hyundai umbrellas and other rewards.

Aftersales offers include RM100 Shell engine oil vouchers, a complimentary 20-point vehicle check, 12V battery and tyre inspections, a fixed RM50 labour rate for servicing, and selected café vouchers for qualifying service invoices.
