Mara Automotive Ecosystem (Matec) 2026 will return from Nov 27-29 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, with electric mobility, automotive technology and TVET among its main themes.
Organised under the theme “Drive the Future”, the event would centre on three areas: Future Automotive, TVET Excellence and Electric Mobility.
Mara said the programme is intended to strengthen the bumiputera automotive industry value chain.
Its technology pillar would feature electric vehicle displays, smart mobility and automotive artificial intelligence, while other programmes would cover business matching, vendor development, franchise opportunities and industry networking.
Matec 2026 would also include open interviews and skills competitions for TVET talent, alongside circular-economy displays and green-mobility zones.
The event is supported by agencies and ministries including the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, Malaysian Investment Development Authority, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Human Resources and HRD Corp.
Public attractions will include campervan and motorhome gatherings, modified-car displays, drift performances, diecast and Tamiya Mini 4WD activities, RC cars, racing simulators and e-sports.
Matec 2026 will run from 10am to 10pm throughout the three-day event. Admission is free.
