Kia Malaysia is strengthening aftersales support across its model range with its centralised parts warehouse in Shah Alam.
Kia Sales Malaysia has fully established the roughly 20,000 sq ft facility at One Logistics Hub in partnership with PKT Logistics Group.
The warehouse supports Kia vehicles across Malaysia, covering current and older models, including electric vehicles such as the EV6 and EV9.
Kia is targeting same-day parts delivery within the Klang Valley while shortening fulfilment times for dealers elsewhere. The company said parts-delivery accuracy has reached 100% since operations began.
The facility stocks service, electrical, mechanical and structural components, with Kia claiming near-complete parts availability across its current line-up and a range of older models.
Kia Sales Malaysia has also reduced prices for nearly all Kia Genuine Parts by an average of 15% this year as it works to improve parts availability and ownership costs.
Its five-year prepaid Kia Maintenance Plan can be purchased during the first 11 months of ownership, subject to vehicle age, mileage and servicing requirements.
Kia is also expanding its service network to the East Coast. A new Kota Baru outlet operated by Baihaki Automotive is scheduled to become fully operational as a 2S service and spare-parts centre on Oct 15.
