Volvo Cars has expanded its outdoor offering with a limited-time Nordic cabin rental linked to its new EX30 Cross Country, which was announced a day earlier.
The cabin, located in Swedish Lapland about an hour north of Luleå, is now available for booking via Landfolk, a platform known for its handpicked holiday homes.
It is the same cabin that was shown at the reveal of the EX30 Cross Country.
The initiative forms part of Volvo’s strategy to deliver complete outdoor experiences rather than merely selling vehicles.
Volvo’s chief product and strategy officer, Erik Severinson, explained that the Cross Country range aims to combine mobility with exclusive access to outdoor retreats. The cabin rental is a key component of that vision, promising a true taste of Scandinavian winter living.
The cabin has a capacity of up to three guests and features a cosy living area with large windows that frame the surrounding snow-covered landscape.
It offers smart storage for winter equipment and a Scandinavian-style kitchen, catering to those wishing to immerse themselves in a peaceful Arctic setting.
Outdoor enthusiasts can explore activities such as dog sledding and cross-country skiing, with a curated selection of local pursuits provided to guide visitors.
The cabin is available for a limited period from Feb 21 to March 21, with bookings allowing a maximum stay of two nights. The holiday package starts from €747 (around RM3,500) – Update: Only 6 slots left as of Feb 13.
Arriving visitors can collect a Volvo EX30 from a designated rental service partner at Luleå Airport, ensuring seamless travel between the cabin and adventure sites.
