Ford has reimagined the iconic Ford Capri, bringing it into the modern era as an all-electric vehicle.

The new Capri EV combines the nostalgic appeal of the original sports coupe with cutting-edge technology and sustainability.

Designed as a family-friendly EV, the new Capri boasts a sleek and athletic profile that stays close to its sporty roots.

The car features bold styling elements, including a distinctive Vivid Yellow paint option that reflects the Capri’s heritage while adding a contemporary touch. With a focus on performance and practicality, the all-electric Capri offers a driving range of over 620km on a single charge, making it a strong contender in the EV market.

One of the standout features of the new Capri is its advanced technology suite, designed to enhance the driving experience.

The car is equipped with automated lane-change functionality, cyclist detection, and other safety technologies that provide drivers with additional confidence on the road. The Capri also offers rapid charging capabilities, significantly reducing downtime during longer journeys and emphasising its practicality for everyday use.

Interior space has been carefully considered, with the Capri offering over 570 liters of boot space, making it a versatile option for families and individuals alike. The cabin combines modern design elements with user-friendly technology, including a digital cockpit that integrates seamlessly with Ford’s latest infotainment system.

Ford’s decision to revive the Capri as an electric vehicle reflects a broader strategy to blend the company’s rich history with a forward-looking approach to sustainability and innovation.

The Capri’s transformation into an EV symbolises the evolution of automotive design, where classic aesthetics meet the demands of a greener future.

This reimagined model maintains the rebellious spirit that made the original Capri a cult classic but does so with an environmentally conscious twist.
