Pro-Net, Proton’s wholly owned new-energy subsidiary, presented a Proton e.MAS 5 Premium to Electrify Your Life Contest 2025 grand prize winner Shahrul Aizat Ishak at Proton e.MAS Setapak in Kuala Lumpur.
Pro-Net head of sales Duan Bingbing did the handover.
Shahrul Aizat, 37, won with the slogan: “Proton e.MAS menjadikan hidup saya… tenang tanpa bunyi, tangkas tanpa kompromi, dan terpacu dengan inovasi.” (Proton e.MAS is part of my life… quiet and calm, agile without compromise, and powered by innovation.)
“We are truly happy to present the Proton e.MAS 5 Premium to Shahrul Aizat and his family. Ultimately, our success is driven by the trust and confidence of Malaysians. Seeing families embrace electric mobility gives us great encouragement, and we sincerely thank Malaysians for their continued support of the e.MAS brand,” Duan said.
Pro-Net chief branding officer Salawati Mohd Yusoff said EV adoption in Malaysia was becoming mainstream, and said Pro-Net’s job was also to build ownership confidence while pushing the wider support network around the car.
Shahrul said the cabin packaging was the clincher for his family. “It looks premium and very comfortable,” he said. “The space inside really stood out. My three children can sit comfortably, and even rest during longer drives.”
Pro-Net also stressed running costs, saying the e.MAS 5 only needed scheduled servicing once a year or every 20,000km.
In a separate February statement, Pro-Net said the e.MAS 5 delivered 3,068 units in January 2026, making it the month’s best-selling EV and pushing it into Malaysia’s national top five for passenger cars.
