Zeekr Malaysia hosted an exclusive screening of Dear You at GSC Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur, on July 4, drawing more than 136 guests.
Also known as “A Letter to Grandma”, the film was shown to Zeekr owners, their families, media representatives and moviegoers.
After the screening, director Lan Hongchun and lead actors Li Sitong and Wang Yantong joined a question-and-answer session. The programme also included a behind-the-scenes discussion and group photo.
It was Zeekr Malaysia’s second event tied to the film. The company previously held an advance screening for owners on June 17 after identifying a strong response to the story’s focus on family and relationships across generations.
The latest event formed part of Zeekr Malaysia’s wider owner-engagement programme. Other activities have included the Zeekr Dynamic Track Driving Experience and Zeekr 009 Family Day.
Zeekr Malaysia general manager Eddy Lu said the brand wanted its relationship with customers to extend beyond the cars they own.
He said future activities would cover ownership, aftersales support, family mobility and community engagement, with owner feedback guiding how the programme develops.
Zeekr said the screening reflected its effort to build a closer owner community through events centred on shared interests rather than vehicle promotion alone.
