Zeekr has confirmed that the refreshed 009 luxury MPV will go on sale in China in the second quarter of 2026, with the company saying the model would be upgraded to a full-stack 900V high-voltage architecture and a new-generation Nvidia DRIVE Thor-U assisted-driving chip.
Zeekr has not yet released the full spec sheet, and said final product details would be announced at launch.
A Chinese regulatory filing reported by CarNewsChina, said the updated 009 has applied for a sales licence in China with output of up to 680kW, equivalent to about 912hp.
In other words, the power figure looks plausible, but it is not yet something Zeekr has formally stamped into a launch announcement.
The move to a 900V setup points to faster charging and broader performance upgrades, though Zeekr has yet to publish the full technical breakdown. Meanwhile, the Thor-U chip points to a sizeable step in assisted-driving hardware.
CnEVPost, citing Zeekr’s announcement, said the 009 is one of four Zeekr models due for updates or launch in the second quarter, alongside the new 8X, plus refreshed 007 and 007 GT models.
