Mercedes-Benz has kicked off the 2025 League of Legends World Championship with a one-off showpiece: the League of Legends Mercedes-Benz CLA Art Piece.
Built with Riot Games, the car riffs on the newly redesigned Summoner’s Cup, the prize that will land in the winners’ hands at Worlds 2025.
The one-off sits within Mercedes-Benz’s “Class of Creators”, a five-strong series of CLA-based artworks made with designers and partners.
This LoL edition echoes the Cup’s look with a silver-chrome finish, blue sapphire accents and gold detailing.
Etched into the chassis are the championship-winning teams from 2011 to 2024, a roll call that doubles as a timeline for the game’s rise and a nod to the esports community powering it.
A reveal film accompanies the artwork, which serves less as a race car and more as a rolling tribute to fan culture and game design. It is Mercedes-Benz’s latest move as the official automotive partner of Worlds.
The World Championship runs from Oct 14 to Nov 9 across Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu.
Consider it a victory parade in waiting: a CLA styled like the trophy itself, created to celebrate the tournament’s opening and to fuse gaming aesthetics with automotive craft.
