Leapmotor has rolled out a substantial over-the-air update for the C10 in Malaysia, adding safety, connectivity and usability upgrades across 2024 and 2025 models.

The release, LeapOS 3.40.32, enables a built-in driving recorder that uses the 360° camera array to capture the vehicle’s surroundings, with options for looped recording and auto-triggered emergency clips.

A USB flash drive of at least 8GB is required and is not included.

Localisation takes a step forward with Bahasa Melayu added to the navigation system for both on-screen text and voice guidance. Voice control is expanded too: saying “Hi Leapmotor” now supports media queries, letting drivers search for songs and artists by voice while on the move.

Advanced driver assistance becomes easier to reach and tune via updated steering-wheel controls for ADAS and drive modes.

The update refines driver distraction and fatigue monitoring, improves lane-centring and adaptive cruise behaviour in bends and during deceleration, and lifts Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centring Control operability to speeds of up to 160kph.

A camera aid for slopes is also tweaked: the front camera now activates more predictably on inclines and declines to reduce blind spots, complemented by stronger stationary holding on hills.

Infotainment connectivity is broadened with QDLink, allowing phone mirroring to the central display over wireless or cable for navigation, streaming and music apps. Android users must install the QDLink app to use the feature.

To recap, the C10’s running hardware and trim updates continue to target everyday practicality.

An uprated 11 kW on-board charger replaces the previous 6.6 kW unit, cutting the 30%–80% AC charge window from about six hours to roughly four hours.

A direct tyre pressure monitoring system now feeds real-time data, and a motorised tyre inflator kit is standard. Storage is boosted by a 32-litre frunk, with a boot tonneau cover to keep cargo out of sight.

Cabin finishes are revised: Black upholstery now pairs with Pearly White, Canopy Grey and Tundra Grey exteriors, while Glazed Green is matched to Camel Brown.

All seats retain OEKO-Tex Standard 100 baby-friendly silicone textiles.

Priced from RM125,000, the C10 includes a six-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty (four-year manufacturer plus two-year extension) and an eight-year or 160,000km battery warranty, whichever comes first.
