Chery’s all-new QQ3 made its debut at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, marking the return of a long-anticipated model.
As reported by carnewschina, the new QQ3 is set to launch as early as the end of this year, the QQ3 will compete directly with the Geely Geome Xingyuan electric hatchback in the increasingly competitive EV market.
Originally introduced in 2003 as a “first car for young people,” the QQ series became one of Chery’s most popular models, with the QQ3, QQ6, and QQme following in subsequent years.
However, due to stiff market competition, the series was discontinued in 2014 after selling over a million units by 2011.
The latest QQ3, based on Chery’s T12 platform, features a round shape with oval headlights and a slim profile. It measures over 4,200 mm in length, with a wheelbase of over 2,700 mm. The design includes a distinctive QQ logo on the C-pillar, and the rear lights echo the oval headlights.
Under the hood, the QQ3 is powered by a 90 kW (121hp) rear electric motor, with further details on battery capacity and range yet to be confirmed.
Inside, the QQ3 boasts a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.
It also features an advanced cockpit design, 256-colour ambient lighting, wireless charging, and supports mobile connectivity with CarPlay, HiCar, and CarLink.
Additionally, Chery’s Falcon 500 advanced driving assistance system includes high-speed navigate-on-autopilot.
