Michelin has appointed Florentin Odenwald as managing director to oversee its operations in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, effective July 1.
He succeeds Prichapakorn Dangrojana, who has moved to a new role with the group in France.
Odenwald will direct strategy, operations and growth across the three markets and continue to serve on Michelin’s Asia-Pacific regional leadership team.
Previously, Odenwald’s career includes leading partnerships and technical programmes with Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Tesla.
Odenwald said his aim is to position Michelin as a regional leader in sustainability and innovation while highlighting the company’s broader capabilities in composites beyond tyres.
