Foxconn has unveiled three new electric vehicles at Hon Hai Tech Day 2026 in Taipei, expanding its portfolio to 12 reference models for automotive manufacturers.
The newcomers are the Model A+ premium SUV, Model K+ lifestyle SUV and Model K compact commercial truck. They join nine existing designs covering passenger cars, SUVs, vans, pickup trucks and buses.
Rather than selling these vehicles directly, Foxconn aims to supply their designs, engineering and manufacturing solutions to automotive brands through its contract design and manufacturing service (CDMS) business.
The Model A+ is a premium B-segment SUV featuring in-wheel electric motors and a configurable electrical and electronic architecture.
Designed with outdoor activities in mind, it offers a spacious interior intended to serve as temporary accommodation, along with backup power capabilities for camping and emergencies.
The Model K+ targets younger buyers with retro-inspired styling influenced by Japan’s city pop culture of the 1970s and 1980s.
It also uses in-wheel motors, while manufacturers can customise its exterior, cabin, driving range and electronic architecture to suit different markets.
The Model K is a compact electric truck aimed at Japan’s kei-class commercial vehicle segment.

Designed for urban deliveries, mobile businesses and municipal services, it features a low cargo bed and provisions for a canopy. Its styling draws inspiration from Foxconn’s larger Model T electric bus.
Foxconn also displayed the Mitsubishi ASX VR-e, a right-hand-drive version of its Model B electric crossover developed for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Honda R&D and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility took part in the event, outlining their respective electromobility work with Foxconn.
The Taiwanese electronics manufacturer additionally showcased battery technology, battery management systems, vehicle electrical architecture and electric powertrains.
Foxconn chief strategy officer for EV Jun Seki said the growing portfolio was intended to help automotive clients shorten development cycles, control costs and introduce new technologies.
Hon Hai Tech Day 2026 runs from Oct 30-31.
