SAIC Motor Malaysia has officially announced the pricing for the all-new MG Cyberster, marking the arrival of the brand’s first all-electric roadster in Malaysia.

The two-seater sports car is priced at RM319,900 (excluding registration fees and insurance).

The MG Cyberster delivers high-performance capabilities with an impressive 503 PS (375 kW/496hp) and 725 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100kph in just 3.2 seconds.

It features a 77kWh battery that offers a range of 446km and supports fast charging, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in just 38 minutes.

The Cyberster’s sleek design includes a low-profile silhouette, scissor doors, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a premium interior equipped with advanced infotainment and Bose audio. Safety is enhanced with MG Pilot’s suite of safety technologies.

Buyers can choose from four exterior colours: Dynamic Red, Camden Grey, Inca Yellow and English White. Dynamic Red and Camden Grey feature black and red interiors, while Inca Yellow and English White offer grey interiors. All variants come with a black hood.

SAIC Motor Malaysia offers a comprehensive warranty and benefits package for the Cyberster, including:
– 7-year/150,000km vehicle warranty
– 8-year/180,000km high-voltage battery warranty
– 8-year/160,000km drive motor warranty
– 1-year unlimited charging with JomCharge
– A complimentary 7kW wallbox charger (installation not included)

The Cyberster pricing was announced at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS).

SAIC Motor Malaysia also showcased other MG models at the show, including the MG5, MG HS SUV, and MG4 EV Concept Edition. Upcoming models such as the MG3 HEV, MG7, and MG ZS HEV were previewed, signaling the brand’s expanding presence in Malaysia.

Special promotions at the event included rebates on the MG5 and MG HS and free installment offers for MG ZS EV and MG4 EV models.

The launch event, which coincided with MG’s 100th anniversary, was attended by Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke and SAIC Motor Malaysia executives, including managing director Emory QiFeng.

QiFeng said MG is committed to energy-efficient vehicles, sustainability, and safety standards while celebrating the brand’s legacy and future.
