Neta Auto Malaysia has introduced optional extended-warranty subscriptions for the Neta V as it clears remaining electric-vehicle stock in Malaysia.

The plans are offered through extended-warranty provider AZ Warranty Sdn Bhd. A collaboration announcement dated March 13, 2026 listed three-year cover at RM5,400 including 8% SST, while a five-year plan costs RM8,640.

Both cover the electric motor, high-voltage battery and media control unit. Each repair bill is capped at RM15,000, with total claims limited to RM60,000 a year.

The three-year plan carries a 60,000km mileage limit, rising to 100,000km for the five-year package. AZ Warranty will administer the cover and handle claims.

The package applies only to eligible Neta V owners. The announcement did not mention the Neta X.

Neta Auto Malaysia is offering existing stock of the Neta V at RM39,999 and the Neta X from RM80,000.

Neta X at RM80,000 as of March 2026.

Its Neta V listing on Facebook described unregistered 2024 units carrying only six months or 15,000km of cover for the battery, motor and general parts. The price excludes insurance and on-the-road costs.

Servicing is listed in Seremban and Glenmarie, while a full refund is promised if a covered defect cannot be repaired during the warranty period.

Neta Auto Malaysia has not said whether the Neta X will get the same short warranty or the AZ package.

The Neta V scored 28.55 points and zero stars in Asean NCAP’s 2024 assessment. Asean NCAP has not tested the Neta X.

AZ Warranty Sdn Bhd said on its website it was founded in 2022 and claimed 2,309 registered dealers and 52,780 customers as of 2025. Its “About” page did not identify its founders, directors or shareholders. It is based in Seri Manjung near Lumut in Perak.
