Zeekr has launched the updated 2026 Zeekr X, keeping the same two-variant line-up but adding more power, better AC charging and a noticeably richer equipment list.
Prices start at RM159,995 for the Premium rear-wheel-drive variant and RM177,465 for the Flagship all-wheel-drive. Prices are on-the-road without insurance.
The styling has not moved far from the original Zeekr X, which is no bad thing if you liked the clean, slightly oddball shape. Most of the work has gone into the hardware and cabin.
The Premium RWD now gets a 250kW rear motor with 373Nm of torque. That cuts the 0-100kph time to 5.3 seconds. The Flagship AWD keeps the dual-motor layout and produces 365kW and 573Nm, enough for a 3.7-second 0-100kph run.
Both versions are listed with a 66kWh battery. The Premium RWD gets the longer WLTP range at 445km, while the more powerful Flagship AWD is rated at 415km.
AC charging has improved. The Premium RWD now supports 11kW AC charging, while the Flagship AWD gets 22kW AC.
DC charging remains listed at up to 150kW, with a 10-80% top-up taking about 30 minutes.
Inside, the Zeekr X now feels more like a small premium EV trying to punch above its size.
Both variants get automatic front doors, an interactive B-pillar display, a redesigned centre console, touch controls on the steering wheel and a 5.7-litre temperature-controlled fridge that can run from -6°C to 50°C. Boot space is now 404 litres.
Other kit includes a 14.6-inch centre screen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument display, a 24.3-inch augmented-reality head-up display and a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system.
The Flagship AWD adds front seat massage, a black-and-red cabin and 20-inch black forged wheels. The Premium RWD gets a black-and-white interior, new 19-inch wheels and Porcelain Pink as an exclusive colour option.
Safety equipment includes seven airbags and an advanced driver assistance system supported by five HD cameras, five millimetre-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
The updated Zeekr X is not a clean-sheet change, but the upgrades make it a stronger package.
