TQ Wuling has added a short-run RM3,000 rebate for Malaysian government civil servants buying the locally assembled Bingo EV.
The offer comes under the brand’s “Serving Those Who Serve Malaysia” campaign and is available until June 30, 2026. It is not a standalone discount for everyone.
TQ Wuling said it applies to eligible civil servants, including staff from federal ministries, state departments, statutory bodies, local authorities, public universities and other recognised government agencies.
The extra rebate is offered on top of the existing Fabulous 5 package for the Bingo EV. That package already includes a RM5,000 cash rebate, a complimentary 7kW wallbox charger, a portable charger, premium window tint, monthly instalments from RM625 through selected finance providers, and a package of 17 insurance benefits plus EV-specific coverage.
TQ Wuling’s current price list puts the Bingo Pro at RM67,800 in Peninsular Malaysia, while the Bingo Max is RM72,800. Both figures are on-the-road prices excluding insurance.
‘The existing RM5,000 rebate lowers the promotional prices to RM62,800 and RM67,800 respectively. The new civil service rebate adds another RM3,000 for qualifying buyers, although customers should check the final payable amount, loan terms and insurance details with a showroom before signing.
The Bingo EV is sold here in two variants.
The Pro uses a 31.9kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and has a claimed 333km range on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle, or CLTC. The Max gets a 37.9kWh battery and a claimed 410km CLTC range.
That’s about 266km and 328km WLTP-equivalent respectively.
Both variants use a front-mounted motor rated at 50kW and 150Nm. AC charging is at 7kW through a Type 2 port, while DC charging uses a CCS2 port at up to 50kW. TQ Wuling lists a 30% to 80% DC charging time of under 35 minutes.
Wan Wei Sun, Head of Business at TQ Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, said the campaign was meant to recognise public-sector workers while making the switch to electric driving easier.
