PassGo has launched its automotive rewards programme in Malaysia, with Proton e.MAS signed on as its first flagship brand partner.
Developed by Geno Edge Malaysia, the platform lets eligible owners earn PassGo Points through driving and selected activities, then redeem them for servicing, EV charging, accessories, vouchers and other rewards.
The programme initially supports the Proton e.MAS 5, e.MAS 7 and e.MAS 7 PHEV. Owners link their vehicles through the Proton e.MAS app before driving rewards can be activated.
PassGo awards one point for every kilometre driven, capped at 150km a day. Additional points can be earned through campaigns and app activities. Points cannot be converted to cash or traded.
Geno said more vehicle brands will be added later, alongside partners covering charging, after-sales services, accessories, insurance and automotive financial services.
The PassGo app is available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play. During the launch promotion, new members receive 100 points after their first login and another 300 points after successfully linking an eligible vehicle.
Geno Group CEO Ian Zhang said PassGo was designed to give carmakers and authorised service centres another way to retain customers beyond the initial vehicle sale.
The company specialises in enterprise blockchain infrastructure, although PassGo itself is presented to users as a conventional automotive rewards programme.
