When the weather goes daft, you gotta improvise. Aion UK is doing exactly that with the new Aion V, turning its electric family SUV into a rolling ice cream excuse.
Until the end of June, UK test drives come with free ice cream, which is cheeky enough.
The better bit is that the Aion V can actually keep the stuff frozen, provided buyers tick the optional Premium Pack.
That pack adds the 6.6-litre CoolHot Box in the centre console. It can chill down to -15 degrees Celsius or heat up to 50 degrees Celsius, so it is not just for ice cream. Cold drinks, snacks, or a suspiciously warm takeaway all fit the brief.
The Aion V starts from £36,450 (RM199,000) on-the-road in the UK. The Premium Pack costs £1,495 (about RM8,200) and also brings massage front seats and leather upholstery.
Standard kit already includes multi-zone climate control, ventilated front seats and a panoramic glass roof with a retractable shade. Handy, given the timing.
Customer deliveries are already underway, while Aion plans to grow its UK retailer network to 30 sites by the end of 2026.
The Aion UT hatchback follows later in the year.
