Chinese EV brand Arcfox has officially confirmed that its new mid-size electric sedan, the Arcfox S3, will launch on May 22, according to announcements published through the company’s official channels and reservation platform.
The S3 is positioned as a smart electric sedan offering both conventional fast-charging and battery-swapping capability.
Information published on Arcfox’s official reservation page indicates that the model will support CATL’s Choco-SEB battery-swap ecosystem, enabling rapid battery replacement functionality alongside standard charging options.
The company’s online booking page also outlines multiple trim configurations and reservation incentives ahead of launch.
Arcfox previously showcased the S3 during Auto China 2026 as part of its broader push into the mainstream EV sedan market.
According to details published on the official platform, the battery-swapping version is expected to use a 54 kWh battery pack and target a CLTC driving range of around 535 km.
Arcfox is part of BAIC Group’s premium electric-vehicle division and has been expanding its cooperation with battery giant CATL on swappable-battery technology infrastructure in China.
