Chinese luxury electric vehicle brand Aito will enter the European market in autumn 2027, following its debut at the Paris Motor Show.
The SERES Group-owned brand displayed four SUVs — the Aito 6, Aito 7, Aito 8 and Aito 9 — as it prepares to expand beyond its home market.
Aito has yet to confirm which models will be sold in Europe, their powertrain configurations, pricing or the countries where sales will begin.
Ahead of its European launch, the company is working towards EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval and targeting five-star Euro NCAP safety ratings under the 2026 testing protocols.
It is also adapting its intelligent driving and parking assistance systems to European traffic conditions, while developing an aftersales network covering vehicle diagnostics, spare parts and customer support.
The company’s vehicles are built around the SERES MF Platform, which supports different powertrains and integrates chassis control, driver assistance and connected vehicle functions.
Aito said its expansion would draw on technology and manufacturing capabilities developed by parent company SERES Group.
Founded in December 2021, Aito has grown rapidly in China, recording more than one million cumulative vehicle deliveries within 46 months.
The European announcement marks another step in its international expansion, although the company has not disclosed sales targets or a detailed rollout schedule.
