Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza is Zeekr Malaysia’s 2,000th customer, taking delivery of a Zeekr 7X in Forest Green at a brand event held at Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur.
“I see this as an early birthday gift to myself,” she said at the handover ceremony on Sunday.
She opted for the 7X AWD Performance, which pairs two electric motors for a claimed 475kW (646hp) and 710Nm. Zeekr said it can sprint from 0-100kph in 3.8 seconds, while the 100kWh battery is rated for up to 543km on the WLTP cycle.
The veteran singer was among 50 new Zeekr owners at the event.
Zeekr said 50 units of the Zeekr 7X were delivered in a single day, with each handover paired with personalised congratulatory messages, Zeekr merchandise and other celebratory touches.
Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia said it had reached 2,000 vehicle deliveries within a year of its official launch in December 2024, a result it described as a sign of rapid growth in Malaysia’s premium electric vehicle (EV) segment.
“Reaching 2,000 owners in a year is no small feat for us at Zeekr and serves as a reflection of the trust Malaysians have placed in Zeekr and our promise to deliver not just cars, but an unparalleled vehicle ownership experience,” said the company’s general manager Eddy Lu.
On the retail front, Zeekr Malaysia said it would expand from January 2026 with new dealership outlets in Johor Baru, Melaka, Ampang and Ipoh. By the end of 2026, it said its network would cover 18 showrooms nationwide, supported by over 10 service and body and paint centres.
Zeekr’s local line-up includes the Zeekr X, 7X and 009. The company also promoted a festive campaign offering Trapo merchandise worth up to RM1,000 for registrations by Dec 31, 2025.
