Volvo’s next big cabin tweak is not a screen, but the letters on it.
The brand’s new custom typeface, Volvo Centum, appears first in the upcoming Volvo EX60, due in 2026.
Built for the dashboard and touch UI, it aims to help drivers read faster, grasp warnings sooner and stay focused.
Volvo said each curve, weight and proportion is tuned for calm, simple communication, while still looking unmistakably Volvo.
Better yet, Centum is set to roll out to millions of existing cars via over-the-air updates. It will be tested as hard as the cars, Volvo insists, too.
