Leapmotor Malaysia has started taking bookings for its B10 electric SUV, a C-segment contender to the Proton e.MAS 7 and BYD Atto 3.
It will sit below the larger C10, becoming Leapmotor’s second model for the Malaysian market and giving the brand and its salesmen at least two models to work with.
Prices are projected between RM110,000 and RM120,000, with a local launch targeted for December 2025. Two variants are planned on the LEAP3.5 platform, with the headline figure being up to 434km WLTP range from a 67.1kWh battery.
If you want to be early in the queue, an RM80 booking fee is all that is needed, either at authorised showrooms or through Leapmotor’s online portal.
The brand is also dangling some extras: the first 200 customers get a “LeapX100” package worth up to RM8,000, combining a cash rebate with either a free wallbox charger or complimentary servicing.
This newcomer has a strong safety story to tell. It carries a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, with 93% scores for both Adult and Child Occupant Protection, 84% for Vulnerable Road Users and 85% for Safety Assist.
Tests reported a stable passenger cell, very good protection in frontal and side impacts and top marks for child seats, helped by ISOFIX/i-Size mounts and a child-presence detection system.
The driver aids list runs to autonomous emergency braking for vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists, lane-keeping assistance and direct driver monitoring to flag fatigue or distraction.
