Lotus Cars Malaysia has expanded its Emeya electric performance sedan lineup to include five distinct variants, alongside notable price reductions that bring the starting price down to RM459,000.

Customer orders are now open; initial deliveries will begin next month.

The overhauled line-up replaces the previous three-variant setup. It introduces a clearer naming system linked to power outputs.

The variants now include the Emeya 600 starting at RM459,000, followed by the 600 GT SE at RM519,000, 600 Sport SE at RM599,000, 900 Sport at RM699,000, and the 900 Sport Carbon priced at RM729,000.

The entire lineup shows substantial price cuts. The entry-level Emeya 600 has seen its price fall by nearly RM96,000 from the prior RM555,000, while higher-end versions have also been discounted by as much as RM78,000, depending on configuration.

Equipment re-alignment and variant reshuffling translate to as much as RM48,000 off the former flagship Emeya R’s equivalent positioning, further improving the model’s value proposition in the electric performance segment.

Every version in the Emeya range features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup powered by a 102kWh battery pack.

The Emeya 600 delivers 603hp and 710Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100kph in 4.15 seconds with a maximum speed of 250kph, and offers a WLTP-rated range of up to 610km.

The more potent Emeya 900 boosts power output to 905hp and 985Nm of torque, incorporating a two-speed transmission that cuts the 0–100kph time to an impressive 2.78 seconds and raises top speed to 256kph. Its WLTP range drop to around 485km, reflecting the emphasis on performance.

The vehicles support charging via 22kW AC power and offer rapid DC fast charging capabilities, with peak rates reported between 350kW and 420kW. This allows the battery to charge from 10% up to 80% in 15 to 18 minutes, ensuring practical turnaround times for daily use.

Specification is tiered by use case.

Standard on the Emeya 600 are features such as adaptive air suspension with Continuous Damping Control, 20-inch wheels, brake-actuated torque vectoring, and LED matrix headlights. The interior boasts a premium KEF 15-speaker audio setup, a head-up display, four-zone climate control, and upholstery crafted from LotusWear Performance fabric

The 600 GT SE adds autonomous and remote parking assist, 21-inch wheels, six-piston brakes, an intelligent glass roof, hands-free tailgate, ambient lighting and illuminated sills for greater convenience and refinement.

For drivers prioritising dynamics, the 600 Sport SE layers on the Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack—active anti-roll bar and rear-wheel steering—plus active aero (rear spoiler, diffuser and front air dam). Ventilated and massaging front seats and soft-close doors round out its brief.

The 900 Sport mirrors the dynamic chassis specification and introduces the two-speed transmission to exploit the higher outputs. Sitting at the top, the 900 Sport Carbon adds extended exterior and interior carbon packages, the active aero system and massaging seats, emphasising both performance and visual drama.

Lotus showrooms are located in Glenmarie in Shah Alam; Pavilion Damansara Heights in Kuala Lumpur and in George Town on Penang island.
