Honda Malaysia has opened bookings for the refreshed City, with the electrified e:HEV RS sitting at the top of the updated B-segment sedan range.
The new City gets a redesigned front end with an integrated headlight treatment and full-width light bar, while air curtains are being introduced to the model for the first time. The RS adds new 16-inch two-tone milled alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear.
More equipment has also been added. The City gains a new 10-inch Display Audio system with ambient lighting and a Multi-View Camera System offering a 360-degree view. Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitoring is available across all variants.
Honda continues to offer both petrol and hybrid powertrains.
The City e:HEV uses a 1.5-litre hybrid system paired with an electric continuously variable transmission (e-CVT). Its electric motor produces 109 PS and 253 Nm, with EV, Hybrid and Engine drive modes automatically managing the powertrain according to driving conditions.
Petrol variants retain the 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT), producing 121 PS and 145 Nm.
Honda SENSING remains standard across the range, with functions including Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keep Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control and Road Departure Mitigation. Low Speed Follow is limited to the e:HEV RS.
Customers who book the new City between Aug 27 and Sept 30 are eligible for an RM3,000 Early Bird Reward, subject to terms and conditions.
Bookings can be made through Honda Malaysia’s online pre-booking platform or at authorised Honda dealerships nationwide.
It has yet to announce prices for the refreshed City.
