Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (Pro-Net) has revealed updated variants of the Proton e.MAS 7, Malaysia’s best-selling electric vehicle, featuring new colour options, enhanced in-car technology via over-the-air (OTA) update and a revamped sales policy.

The exterior line-up now includes Obsidian Black, chosen for its bold, premium appeal. Inside, Quartz Rose and Turquoise Green Premium models gain an exclusive Alabaster White interior trim, each limited to just 250 units.

All variants are supplied with a tonneau cover as standard, with existing owners to receive theirs free of charge.

A comprehensive OTA update to Flyme Auto OS adds wired and wireless Apple CarPlay, plus support for third-party apps such as Zoom for Cars, izi.Travel and Vivaldi Browser.

Drivers can now retain their last-used settings after shutdown. Android Auto integration is scheduled for rollout by year-end.

Safety enhancements include an upgraded low-speed pedestrian warning system, offering two new sound profiles — Galactic Note and Space Walk — alongside the standard Classical tone; once selected, the chosen melody is retained for subsequent starts.

“These improvements are driven directly by owner feedback, ensuring the e.MAS 7 remains personal, smart and reliable,” said Pro-Net chief executive officer Zhang Qiang.

To boost ownership value, PRO-Net has launched the “Power Pack+” sales package, comprising:

* Power Home: a complimentary 7 kW home charger (RM1,500 value)
* Power Plus: a free vehicle-to-load adaptor (RM500 value)
* Power Online: five years of unlimited internet data (RM1,800 value)
* Power Thru: six-year unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty plus eight-year/160,000km high-voltage battery warranty
* Power Exchange: trade-in rebate of RM5,000 (subject to inspection approval)

The refreshed e.MAS 7 is available immediately at all authorised Proton e.MAS dealerships nationwide. Prospective buyers and current EV owners are invited to view the new colour options and experience the upgraded features firsthand.
