Tesla is expanding its electric car charging infrastructure, announcing plans to build one of the largest charging stations in Florida, featuring around 200 charging points.
This initiative is part of Tesla’s effort to accommodate growing demand, aiming to surpass its current largest Supercharger station, which has around 100 points.
The proposed Florida station at Yeehaw Junction will include 160 V3 Superchargers, providing up to 250 kW of power, and 40 more chargers accessible to all brands, albeit with a power limit of 200 kW.

This move comes as the global demand for electric vehicles increases, with Tesla’s network already comprising over 50,000 stations worldwide.
The company is also planning further expansions, including a station in California with 160 charging points.
At present, the world’s largest charging station is in Shenzhen, China, with 258 points, a collaboration between BYD and Shell.
