GWM Malaysia has unveiled a refreshed variant of its best-selling Haval H6 HEV, now featuring a Phantom black cabin finish.
The new option joins the existing range of interior colours, allowing customers to match the SUV’s contemporary styling to their personal tastes while preserving all current exterior paint choices.
The price for the locally assembled SUV stays at RM139,800 (on-the-road without insurance).
The Haval H6 HEV with a Phantom black cabin finish was previewed in Kuala Lumpur two days earlier ahead of its official announcement. Members of the media were feted to a durian buffet to mark the occasion.
GWM Malaysia chief operating officer Roslan Abdullah said the Phantom black interior responds directly to customer demand for a more modern, refined ambience.
“Malaysian drivers are savvy. They know real value goes beyond the price tag. With the GWM Haval H6 HEV, you are getting premium specifications, strong performance, and proven reliability in one complete package.”
Under the bonnet, the H6 HEV remains unchanged, combining a 1.5 litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 240hp and 530Nm of torque.
Fuel consumption is rated from 5.8 l/100km, delivering a driving range of up to 1,000 km on a single tank.
Standard equipment includes advanced driver-assist systems, connected-car technology and a bold exterior design that has helped the model outperform its rivals in Malaysia’s growing hybrid segment.
To mark the launch of the Phantom black interior variant, GWM Malaysia is offering a limited-time promotion that includes RM6,600 in savings and an upgraded 10-year warranty on the hybrid battery.
