Škoda Auto today launched the new Elroq vRS, a high-performance variant of its electric compact SUV, six months after the world debut of the standard Elroq.
The vRS model, which marks the top end of the vRS family, is powered by dual electric motors delivering a combined output of 340 PS (250 kW) and features an all-wheel-drive system.
With an electric range exceeding 340 miles on the WLTP cycle, the Elroq vRS is the fastest accelerating model in Škoda’s current range, sprinting from 0 to 100kph in 5.4 seconds.
The vehicle adopts Škoda’s new Modern Solid design language, characterised by high-gloss black accents and the distinctive illuminated Tech-Deck Face that integrates multiple sensors including radar.
Black exterior details, vRS-specific design elements such as side window trim, roof rails, and wing mirror caps add to its dynamic appearance. Exclusive alloy wheels of up to 21 inches, a sports chassis, and progressive steering contribute to superior driving dynamics.
An 84 kWh battery, offering a net capacity of 79 kWh, supports the impressive range, while fast charging capabilities of up to 185 kW enable the battery to charge from 10 to 80 per cent in about 26 minutes. An 11 kW AC charger completes the charge from 0 to 100 per cent in around eight hours.
Inside, the Elroq vRS is fitted with the exclusive Design Selection vRS Lounge, featuring predominantly black Suedia microfibre upholstery with lime green contrast stitching and carbon-look décor.
The three-spoke sports steering wheel, heated front seats with integrated head restraints, and stainless-steel pedal covers emphasise its sporty character.
A range of high-tech features is standard, including a 13-inch infotainment display with vRS-specific graphics, a 5-inch Digital Cockpit, and advanced connectivity options such as four fast-charging USB-C ports and wireless charging via the Phone Box.
Advanced safety and driver assistance systems include the latest version of Travel Assist, which combines Adaptive Lane Assist, Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Assist and Blind Spot Detection.
Intelligent parking functions, managed through the MyŠkoda app, allow for automated parallel and perpendicular parking, while features such as Keyless Entry and Open-On-Approach add convenience.
In addition, collaboration with Powerpass ensures access to over 800,000 public charging points across Europe with seamless DC charging via the Plug & Charge option.
The Elroq vRS will make its first public appearance at Milan Design Week 2025 (April 7-13), where it will be showcased in a creative display that includes art installations and limited-edition collaborations, underlining Škoda’s commitment to performance, design, and innovation.
