MG cars distributor SAIC Motor Malaysia today announced the appointment of five dealerships to expand its dealer network across the country.
The addition of the new dealerships would cover the northern and east coast regions and Sabah/Sarawak by the end of the year.
SAIC Motor Malaysia’s MG currently has 14 sales showrooms and eight service centres nationwide with additional five sales and one service outlets coming soon.
By the end of 2025, SAIC Motor Malaysia aims to cover a total of 35 locations in Malaysia.
“With the expansion of our dealer network, we are poised to enhance accessibility to our latest models, ensuring that more Malaysians can experience the quality and innovation that MG stands for,” said SAIC Motor Malaysia managing director Steven Du.
The new dealerships are expected to boost the accessibility of MG’s latest internal combustion engine (ICE) models, the MG5 sedan and MG HS SUV, alongside the pure electric MG4 and MG ZS EV models.
The electric models are already on sale following their launch in March, while the ICE models are available for pre-booking ahead of their official debut soon.
