Opel will use Auto Zürich 2025 to debut the Mokka GSE, billed as the brand’s fastest all-electric production model and now open for orders.
The compact EV packs 207 kW (281 hp) and 345 Nm, does 0–100kph in 5.9 seconds, and tops out at 200kph.
Opel said the road car borrows know-how from the new Mokka GSE Rally, giving the small crossover a dose of motorsport flavour for everyday driving. WLTP energy use is listed at 18.5 kWh/100km.
Sharing the stand is a “phygital” crowd-puller: the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo.
The concept merges virtual and real worlds — showgoers can view a physical model in Zurich and drive it in Gran Turismo 7.
The numbers are pure theatre: 588 kW (800 hp), 800 Nm, 0–100kph in 2.0 seconds and a 320kph v-max. Opel positions it as a high-performance EV statement for the small-car segment and a preview of where its GSE (Grand Sport Electric) label could go.
Adventure gets a look-in via the Frontera GRAVEL show car, a tougher take on Opel’s family SUV.
The display vehicle wears “Desert Stone” graphics with a matt black roof and bonnet, orange highlights, a front winch, rear side storage boxes, and a lattice roof rack for extra kit.
It stands on 7×16-inch BORBET CWE wheels, nodding to rough-surface use. Opel will also demonstrate the Frontera’s flexibility with a roof-tent set-up and show a seven-seat version on site.
Rounding out the stand is the Grandland Electric AWD, Opel’s first all-electric all-wheel-drive model. In Ultimate trim it delivers 239 kW (325 hp) and 509Nm, uses Frequency Selective Damping suspension, and is quoted at up to 489km WLTP range (with up to 501km planned on other trims).
The model is already at dealerships, with Opel’s Swiss brand ambassador Nic Huber slated to showcase its winter-ready traction during the show’s media programme.
Auto Zürich runs Oct 30–Nov 2. Auto Zürich is a long-running, independent Swiss show; it hasn’t replaced the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS), which was discontinued in Switzerland in 2025 and beyond after weak OEM interest.
The organisers are focusing on the GIMS Qatar edition for November 2025.
