US aftermarket Tesla tuner Unplugged Performance today unveiled the UP Forged Road Warrior (UP-RW), touted as the “first indestructible wheel in the world.”
Designed for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y drivers — and purpose-built for future autonomous fleets such as Robotaxi — the UP-RW enters the market at US$2,595 (around RM11,000) for a set of four 19-inch wheels and US$2,995 (RM12,670) for 20-inch sets.
Worldwide shipping is available, with billet-forged centre caps and replaceable aluminium Curb Guard Rings included as standard.
The UP-RW’s key innovation is its stealth-integrated outer ring, engineered to absorb damage from curbs and potholes. Rather than removing the tyre, owners can simply swap out a scuffed Curb Guard.
Unplugged backs this durability with a lifetime replacement guarantee against bending or cracking under normal use.
Factory Tesla tyres mount directly to the new wheels without requiring staggered setups, making the UP-RW compatible with standard non-staggered 19- and 20-inch configurations. A two-tone Satin Black and Satin Gunmetal finish ensures a sleek fit with all Tesla paint options.
Made from lightweight forged 6061-T6 aluminium, each wheel features an integrated aerodynamic disc.
Computational Fluid Dynamics testing revealed the UP-RW achieves drag coefficients within 0.010 Cd of Tesla’s lowest-drag production wheel, the 18-inch Photon Aero Covered wheel — positioning it among the most aerodynamic aftermarket options available.
