Great Wall Motors (GWM) Malaysia has unveiled the Ora 07, an all-electric sedan available in two variants: the front-wheel-drive Long Range Ultra and the all-wheel-drive Performance model, priced at RM169,800 and RM189,800 respectively, excluding insurance.
The vehicles come with comprehensive warranties, including a six-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 180,000km warranty for the battery, electric motor, and control unit, and a 12-year rust and corrosion warranty.
An early bird offer for the first 500 customers includes a complimentary home wallbox charger and an extended two-year vehicle warranty. Existing GWM owners are also eligible for a RM3,000 loyalty discount if they wish to buy the Ora 07.
The Ora 07 has a wheelbase of 2,870mm and measures 4,71mm in length, 1,862mm in width, and 1,500mm in height. Despite its modest 333-litre trunk space, the vehicle features high-quality tyres, disc brakes, and a sophisticated suspension system.
The Performance variant moreover offers red brake calipers and larger wheels.
Designed with a focus on aerodynamics and luxury, the Ora 07 includes pop-out door handles, an active air intake grille, and a range of LED lighting. It also features noise-reducing acoustic glass and automatic wipers for added comfort.
The electric motor is powered by an 83.5kWh battery, delivering up to 640km range for the Long Range Ultra and 550km for the Performance variant, with impressive acceleration and top speeds.
Charging options include an 11kW Type-2 AC port for overnight charging and an 88kW CCS2 DC port for rapid charging.
The interior offers luxurious appointments such as a faux leather steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and a state-of-the-art multimedia system with a wide array of features for safety, comfort, and convenience.
