China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) filings revealed an updated Zeekr X with a more powerful rear motor and a flagship all-wheel-drive version rated at 365 kW (489 hp), while exterior styling remained unchanged, CarNewsChina reported.
The revised rear-drive model moved from 200 kW to 250 kW (335 hp). Both versions were capped at 190kph.
Body dimensions were carried over at 4,450 mm long, 1,836mm wide and 1,572mm tall, on a 2,750 mm wheelbase.
Tyres remained 235/55 R18, 235/50 R19 or 245/45 R20. Options listed in the filing included alternative wheel designs, coloured calipers, different mirror and roof colours, privacy glass, and even a version without exterior door handles.
The cabin featured a 1.21 m² panoramic roof, 56-LED daytime running lights and a 1.5 m full-width rear light with 229 LEDs.
Powertrains split by chemistry: the new RWD used a 250 kW motor with an LFP battery, while the AWD paired a 115 kW front unit with the 250 kW rear and a ternary lithium battery.
For context, the current X on sale offers four trims in four- or five-seat layouts priced at 149,000–179,000 yuan (up to RM106,000), and was previously rated at 200 kW RWD (49 kWh LFP or 66 kWh ternary) for 420–560 km CLTC, plus AWD at 315kW with 66 kWh ternary for 500–512km CLTC.
Market performance to date was modest: 465 units were sold in August, taking 2025 year-to-date volume to 4,611 and placing the model 79th for the month among SUVs in China, according to data cited by CarNewsChina. Timing for the refreshed variant was not disclosed in the filing.
