Bugatti has revealed the engineering mastery behind its new Tourbillon hypercar in a video clip posted today.
In the almost nine-minute clip, Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac goes into a technical deep dive of the hybrid car, which represented Bugatti’s first foray into electrified powertrains and marks a new era for the marque.
Rimac explained how swapping the gearbox from front to rear and angling the compact 8.3-litre V16 engine slims the bodywork, channelling airflow into extra-long Venturi tunnels for record-breaking downforce with minimal drag.
He also highlighted the diffuser’s dual role as a crash structure and the first-ever 3D-printed, wing-shaped suspension arms optimised by AI — each innovation working in concert to push top speed beyond the Chiron’s limits.
Tune in to uncover the full technical tour.
