Leapmotor has unveiled its 2025-model C10 electric SUV in Malaysia, priced from RM125,000, with a host of enhancements designed to boost everyday usability and charging efficiency.

The refreshed C10 goes on sale from June 2025 at all authorised showrooms nationwide.

The new price tag is sure to grab attention, as it’s down RM34,000 from the launch price last October. While upgrades typically come with a price increase, Leapmotor is adopting a contrarian approach – mainly out of necessity to stay competitive.

Key additions include a 32-litre front trunk (“frunk”) and a boot tonneau cover for secure cargo storage. Charging times have been cut significantly thanks to an upgraded 11 kW on-board charger, which cuts AC recharging from 30–80 per cent down to four hours from six.

A Direct Tyre Pressure Monitoring System now provides real-time tyre condition data, and a motorised inflator kit offers on-the-spot tyre maintenance.

Interior trims have been revised to match exterior hues: Pearly White, Canopy Grey and Tundra Grey models now receive a smart Black upholstery, while the Glazed Green exterior is paired with a Camel Brown finish. All seats continue to feature OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certified baby-friendly silicone textile.

Under the bonnet, the C10 retains its 69.9 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery and electric motor setup, producing 214 hp and delivering up to 424 km of WLTP-rated range. Leapmotor credits Maserati for optimising the vehicle’s driving dynamics, reinforcing its design awards from the International CMF Design and US Muse Design competitions.

Leapmotor also marks a milestone as China’s fastest-growing new energy vehicle startup, having sold 173,658 units between January and May 2025. The C10 is covered by a six-year or 150,000 km manufacturer warranty, including a two-year extension, plus an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first.

Coinciding with its Father’s Day promotion and recognition as China’s number one fastest-growing EV brand, Leapmotor invites interested buyers to book a test drive at local dealerships or explore further details at www.leapmotor-international.com.my.
